Alban Plaster Bandage 20x200 cm

Composition and usage instructions

Alban Plaster Bandage is a medical plaster bandage used to prepare a stabilizing splint (langeta) for the treatment of fractures, dislocations, and other orthopedic traumatic injuries. The bandage consists of cotton gauze impregnated with specially processed plaster powder.

Usage instructions: Before use, the bandage is soaked in lukewarm water and held for a few seconds until the water fully penetrates. Then, the injured limb is wrapped in layers by medical personnel. The plaster hardens within 5–10 minutes, and complete setting occurs within a few hours. The size is 20 cm in width and 200 cm in length, making it suitable for large joint areas (knee, shoulder, calf).

The product should be applied only by medical personnel (doctor, nurse, paramedic). Independent use at home is not recommended.

Contraindications and warnings

The bandage is intended for single use only. An opened product must not be reused.

If there are external skin injuries (wounds, burns, open fracture) during application of the plaster bandage, appropriate medical assistance must be provided first, and the bandage should be applied only on the doctor’s instructions.

Wrapping the bandage too tightly may impair blood circulation—if numbness, swelling, or color changes are noticed, seek medical help immediately.

Store in a cool, dry place away from moisture and heat. Keep out of reach of children.
