Aldrop composition

Active ingredient: 10 mg of cetirizine dihydrochloride is contained in 1 ml of solution.

Contraindications

Individual hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation.
Pregnancy and lactation period.
In rare inherited pathologies accompanied by impaired tolerance to galactose, or
in patients with glucose-galactose malabsorption.
Severe renal impairment with creatinine clearance less than 10 ml/min.

Directions for use and dosage

For children from 6 months to 1 year during chronic allergic rhinitis or idiopathic urticaria (hives):
5 drops once daily (0.25 ml).
For children from 1 year to 2 years: 10 drops once daily (0.5 ml) (the solution should be taken as 5 drops (0.25 ml) every 12 hours).
For children from 2 to 12 years:
For children with body weight less than 30 kg: 10 drops (0.5 ml) of solution once daily.
For children with body weight more than 30 kg: 10 drops (0.5 ml) of solution twice daily, with each dose.
For children over 12 years and adults: 20 drops (1 ml) of solution is prescribed once daily.
If necessary, the dose can be divided into 2 parts (morning, evening).
Taking the preparation is not dependent on meals. It is recommended to take the product after dinner, because symptoms become more severe at night. The duration of treatment depends on the severity and
localization of the process. In hay fever (pollinosis), treatment is continued for 3–6 weeks.
