AMINALON composition
Active ingredient: 1 tablet contains 250 mg gamma-aminobutyric acid.
Indications for use
- Conditions after cerebral blood circulation disorders and craniocerebral traumas; - psycho-organic syndrome; - atherosclerotic, hypertensive, and alcoholic encephalopathy; - childhood cerebral palsy and the consequences of birth trauma in children, as part of complex therapy; - delayed mental development in children; - kinetoses (sea and air sickness).
Contraindications
- High sensitivity to any component of the product; - children under 6 years of age.
Use during pregnancy and lactation
The safety and effectiveness of Aminalon during pregnancy and lactation have not been established.
Effect on the ability to drive vehicles and operate other potentially dangerous machinery
During use of Aminalon, caution is required when driving a vehicle and operating other potentially dangerous machinery.
AMINALON dosage and method of use
Taken orally before meals. Adults and children over 7 years are prescribed 0.5–1.25 g orally, 3 times a day. The daily dose is 1.5–3 g. For children at 6 years of age: 2.0–3.0 g/day (8–12 tablets) is prescribed, 3 times a day.
The course of treatment should not be less than 2–3 weeks (optimal 2–4 months). If necessary, courses may be repeated 1–2 times per year. For the treatment of kinetoses, adults take 0.5 g (2 tablets) and children take 0.25 g (1 tablet) 3 times a day, starting 3–4 days before the expected trip.
