Composition and directions for use

Andorex mouthwash solution is a combined preparation used for the treatment of the mouth and throat area. Each 200 ml of solution contains 240 mg chlorhexidine digluconate and 300 mg povidone-iodine as active ingredients. It also includes mint aroma, sorbitol, patent blue V, glycerol, polysorbate 20, tartrazine, ethanol and other excipients.

It is recommended to gargle with 5–15 ml of the product for 1.5–3 hours. For children aged 12 years and above, use 5–15 ml once every 1.5–3 hours per day. Use is not recommended for children aged 6 years and under.

Before use, the bottle should be shaken well. If tearing and stinging occurs, gargling should be stopped. No special dosage adjustment is required in elderly patients.

Contraindications and warnings

It should be used with caution in individuals who are sensitive to the ingredients of the product, and in patients with liver insufficiency or liver failure. It is not recommended to use during pregnancy and lactation without the doctor’s advice.

Side effects such as dry mouth, burning and stinging in the mouth, runny nose, vomiting, and nausea may be observed. In cases of skin edema and other damage to the surface of the oral area, numbness may occur in the throat and outside the teeth. Increased sweating may also be observed as an external effect.

The product is intended for external use only. Do not swallow. Treatment is not recommended for more than 7 days. In cases of scarring reactions observed together with periodic and other antibiotics, and in anaphylaxis cases, use should be discontinued.
