Ansimar composition

Active ingredient: In 1 ml of syrup there are 20 mg of doxofylline. Excipients: sucrose, ethyl alcohol 96%, methyl p-hydroxybenzoate, spicy peppermint extract, ammonium glycyrrhizinate, purified water.

Indications for use:
 Bronchial asthma, lung diseases accompanied by bronchial spasm.

Contraindications:

 ANSIMARâ hypersensitivity to the medicinal product or other xanthine derivatives. Acute myocardial infarction, hypotension, lactation period.

Use during pregnancy and lactation:

 Since experience in humans during pregnancy is limited, xanthines may be prescribed to a pregnant woman only when there is a specific need, after evaluating the risk and benefit. Use during lactation is contraindicated.

Ansimar dosage and method of use

 In adults, 20 ml (1 measuring cap) of syrup is prescribed for oral administration 2–3 times per day (20 ml corresponds to 400 mg of doxofylline). With the recommended dosing, plasma levels of doxofylline generally do not exceed 20 mcg/ml; therefore, there is no need for regular monitoring of levels. When increasing the dose, it is necessary to check the blood levels of the active substance (therapeutic values are close to 10 mcg/ml, toxicity level limits are 20 mcg/ml).
